We are located on CA-1 (Highway 1) at the Point Reyes National Seashore.
Driving Directions
From San Francisco
Take Highway 101 north, across the Golden Gate Bridge to Greenbrae. Exit on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard (San Anselmo exit). Stay on Sir Frances Drake Boulevard through San Anselmo and Fairfax for 22 miles until it ends at Highway 1 in Olema. Turn right onto Highway 1. Go for a quarter mile, and you’ll see the campground on the left.
From Santa Rosa
Take Highway 101 south to the East Washington exit in Petaluma. Turn right onto East Washington and go into the left-hand lane, then turn left onto Lakeville Highway. Go one block and turn right onto D Street. D Street becomes Point Reyes Petaluma Road. Continue for 20 miles; towards the end, you will pass by a stop sign, then continue straight. You will get to Platform Bridge Road after the stop sign. Turn right onto Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. It ends at Highway 1 in Olema. Turn right onto Highway 1. Go for a quarter mile; the campground is on the left.
From the East Bay Over the San Rafael Bridge
Take the second exit, Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, at the end of the bridge. Drive for 22 miles until it ends at Highway 1 in Olema. Turn right onto Highway 1. Go for a quarter mile; the campground is on the left.
From Sacramento and Vallejo Area
Take Highway 80 to Vallejo and exit onto Highway 37. Head west; when you reach Highway 101, do not get onto Highway 101. Take the South Novato Boulevard exit instead. Follow Novato Boulevard through Novato for approximately 10 miles until it ends at Point Reyes Petaluma Road, then turn left. Continue for 10 miles to Sir Francis Drake Boulevard; towards the end, you will reach a stop sign. Continue straight; you will reach Platform Bridge Road after the stop sign. Turn right. It ends at Highway 1 in Olema; turn right onto the highway and go for a quarter mile. The campground is on the left.
Caution:
- If you have a large rig, don’t take the Lucas Valley Road exit from Highway 101 or Highway 1 north from the Sausalito exit. There are very sharp turns.
- Be careful when using GPS or driving directions from the internet, as there might be inaccuracies. They might lead you to longer routes or direct you to roads unsuitable for RVs.
